Tuition
Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition is charged on a program basis. The rate of tuition for each program includes course instruction, faculty and administrative counseling, tests, and instructor feedback. The tuition rate does not include textbooks, audiocassettes, videotapes, phone calling fees, materials or additional program fees.

Payment may be made by check, money order or by credit card via the University website. All tuition is payable in U.S. dollars. All payments should be made payable to Universal University *All programs are subject to change without prior notification.


Additional Courses
If a student wishes to take additional courses to their program. Selected course additions are subject to faculty approval. The course fee is $125 each.
 

Additional Expenses
You will incur additional expenses for textbooks. These vary depending upon the degree program. A typical student spends between $600 to $1,000 for books and reference material over a degree program.

There is a non-refundable application fee of $50.00 due upon applying to the University. The only other unavoidable expenses you will incur are for copying, postage, and telephone calls; these typically total $50 to $150. Students may lessen these costs by submitting tests and papers via email or fax.


Family Tuition Discount
The spouse or family member of an active student is eligible for up to a  50 percent discount. May not be used in conjunction with other tuition specials.


University Referral Program

Students and Alumni will receive a $50 tuition voucher for referring friends and/or co-workers to University of Holistic Theology. The referred student must be enrolled for 60 days prior to the issuance of a tuition voucher. Terms and conditions apply.


Work/Study Program
A limited amount of students can receive a reduction of tuition costs for participating in our work/study program. This is part-time work assisting with research, course up-dating, website marketing, student advising, and much more. The work/study program is only available to Degree Seeking students.  If you are interested in the work/study program please discuss this option with your faculty advisor.

Interest FREE Payment Plans
To assist student with financial obligations, University of Holistic Thelogy offers various payment plans with payments as low as $125 per month.

Tuition Refund Policy
Students who withdraw for the University will be issued a refund based on the date of enrollment. Students withdrawing from the University must give written notice, sent certified mail, stating the reason for withdrawal. The refund percentage is applied to the total tuition, not the amount already paid. A $100 Processing Fee will be charged to any student who withdraws/resigns from the University. This fee will be deducted from any refund amount due to the student. Tuition refund schedule:

0 to 7 days = 100%

8 to 15 days = 75%

16 to 30 days = 50%

over 30 days = None

 

Educational Expenses as a Tax Deduction
Educational expenses (including any costs of travel, meals or lodging) may be deductible when the expenses are part of an effort to maintain or improve skills required as a condition of your employment, job status or compensation. Consult with your tax adviser to determine if your educational expenses can be used to your tax advantage.

 

Financial Aid
The University of Holistic Thelogy does not currently participate in any United States governmental tuition assistance programs. Students are encouraged to research other sources of private grants and scholarships such as the fastWEB Scholarship Search (no charge to use) on the Financial Aid Information Page currently accessible on the World Wide Web at URL http://www.finaid.org 

 

Student I.D. Cards
Student identification cards are available upon request.  Please request and fill out the Application for Student I.D. card form.  Send the form, a recent picture of yourself (passport photo size), and $25 US to the Registrars Office.
