Purchase Course Now The Academy of Hypnotherapy professional certification course has been running since 1998 and has launched many Hypnotherapists and Coaches into Private Practice.  Essentially a Practitioner level course, it has been expanded and improved the last few years. It is designed to train and equip you with sufficient knowledge and understanding to safely and effectively practice Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. The Academy of Hypnotherapy is principally a Distance Learning Course. Our experience has shown this to be the most effective way of integrating and understanding the vast range of topics and techniques. We have also found that the home study route offers more opportunity for self reflection and development, which in turn develops a more skilled therapist. In addition to the course there is ample opportunity to attend further training and seminars. The course is very thorough - when qualified you should possess a better understanding of Hypnosis than the average hypnotist or hypnotherapist, and a greater knowledge of character and behavior formation than the average practitioner. Many different techniques utilising Hypnosis, NLP and cognitive behavior therapies are covered - the predominant one being the use of hypno-analysis and hypnotherapy to discover and remove the cause of problems and issues. Course Structure The course has seven modules. Each module introduces new information, theories and skills that build on the learning and insight gained in previous modules, moving you towards a fully integrated understanding of Hypnotherapy. The majority of the modules have accompanying audio or video cassettes, which aid your developing understanding and insight into human nature and hypnosis. There are useful test exercises at the end of every module which will provide you with invaluable feedback on your progress. If you do not wish to continue into practice at the end of the course, you are not required to complete these, but many students find they are a useful benchmark for their studies. The final examination accompanies module seven, this is completed at home and there is no deadline for its return, but must be completed prior to recieving your certificate as a Board Certified Hypnotherapist. To become Board Certfied by the Professional Hypnotherapy Practitioner Association a 90.00 fee is required with your final exam.  To become Board Certified by The American Board of Hypnotherapy an annual fee of 85.00 must be submitted with your final exam. The course is normally completed within six months, although the course has been completed in as little as 30 days. You will have up to a year to complete the course with extensions given with written request.  You will also need to read some required reading from the list provided and are required to complete a report.
